Christmas is a season for kindness. A time to offer a fresh message of hope to those in need. In the current climate we are aware that many of our neighbours are struggling with isolation, displacement, financial distress, poor health, job uncertainty, and bereavement.
Through Love Christmas, we can bring comfort as we reach out and share bags of kindness with those around us, inspire a contagious culture of kindness, and let people know that we are with them and they are not alone.
Love Christmas in Maidenhead
In partnership with other local churches, we want to show love to individuals and families throughout Maidenhead who are facing difficulties this Christmas by delivering bags of kindness across the town. The bags will be filled with Christmas treats and life essentials to remind the recipients that they are thought of and loved. Thanks to your generous donations, this year we aim to pack and deliver around 1000 bags . The cost of these will be covered by our Love Christmas Campaign.
Each year, hundreds of churches across the country come together to pack and deliver Bags of Kindness, reaching out to those in their communities who are facing hardship or spending Christmas alone. Find out more about this national initiative here.
